I came across this scene about 15 minutes before actual sunrise as I was leaving a camping area (where I slept in the bed of my truck - classy, I know) to drive to the river I wanted to photograph that day (Buffalo River, Arkansas). It was a serene, foggy morning. The hills were just partially obscured and in the near meadow was a single tree, standing by itself. This photo can hardly do justice to the reality of the scene, but I hope you can enjoy that moment with me.
Taken at Boxley Valley, Arkansas - near Lost Valley camping area.
